The surprise visit from the Princess of Wales in Bracknell received a great reception from the public today.

Dozens gathered around to take pictures of Kate Middleton as she left the VSI Razom Community Centre in the Lexicon.

The News spoke to Anastasia Vil, who’s mother Nathalia Vil founded VSI Razom. She said: “She was very sweet and easy to talk to which I wasn’t expecting at all. I thought it would be a lot more formal, but it was really light.”

Miss Vil continued: “We were showing her how the donation boxes work and talked her through the process of how we help people over in Ukraine.”

Anastasia is from Bracknell and has always lived here. She is currently in college studying for her A-Levels in psychology, medical sciences, and chemistry.

We also got the chance to speak to the founder of VSI Razom Nathalia Vil, 40, from Bracknell who said: “She was so friendly and paid attention to everyone, children and adults.”

“It is the one-year anniversary of the invasion, so it means a lot that we are noticed by the Royal Family.”

When pressed on the kind of things the Princess said to her, Nathalia replied “It was such a blur, I can barely remember. She was really nice.”

The Princess spoke at lengths with Nathalia and other members of her family, like her son who she asked if it “is hard to find a community in your generation.”

When the Princess left the community centre, she spoke with a few members of the public.

Ruth, a woman from Bracknell who spoke with the Princess and shook her hand, said: “She asked me if I was shopping today, and said that she’d never been to Bracknell, but goes shopping in Reading.”
