LONDON Irish centre Jonathan Joseph believes the spirit within Stuart Lancaster's England set-up makes it easy for any newcomers to make an impact.

Billy Twelvetrees earned rave reviews for his debut appearance for the Red Rose in last week's opening Six Nations victory against Scotland.

Gloucester centre Twelvetrees scored a try and has kept his place for Sunday's trip to Ireland, despite the return from injury of Manu Tuilagi.

Former Newbury Blue Joseph, who won't be involved this weekend, has paid tribute to the welcoming nature of the squad, believing it sets the team up for victory.

"I think coming into this environment and being with all the boys it is a great atmosphere and everyone is really nice to each other from the coaches down to the players," said the 21-year-old.

"It is easy for someone to come in and do really well because the atmosphere is created for them and the boys back each other and every individual in the team.

"As long as they go out there and give it all they can and do what they can, the team supports each other."

Joseph is representing the England team for Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Official partner of the RFU. Marriott Hotels & Resorts is giving away a two-night break in Europe every time England score a try in the RBS 6 Nations. Go to Facebook.com/MarriottHotelsUK for more details.
